On land reminiscent of Melbourne’s sandbelt and just 7 kilometres from the Perth City Centre lies Mt. Lawley.
The course was built in the late 1920’s – the peak of golf course design in this country, when so many of the great clubs on the East Coast were also formed. The gently rolling terrain and sandy ground is perfect for golf and the routing is first class, making good use of the undulations and helping to create plenty of fun, sporty holes.
In 2018 the first part of the Masterplan was implemented – the construction of a new short game facility in the spare ground to the South of the clubhouse which can also double as a spare hole when required. Built on over two acres and consisting of two greens and a scattering of bunkers and short grass, the area allows golfers to practice virtually any shot up to 100 metres.
Over the past year we have continued working closely with the club and planning for the start of the Masterplan implementation in the near future.
